What exactly is life coaching?

How do I know if life coaching is right for me?

How are you different from other Coaches?
There are many talented life coaches, but not all coaching is the same. My work is rooted in one core belief: "the greatest regret people express at the end of life is not living true to themselves." Everything I do is designed to prevent that.
I don’t focus on surface-level motivation or quick fixes. And I don’t believe in blowing up your life for the sake of change. Instead, I work with high-functioning, thoughtful women who feel quietly dissatisfied, and help them untangle who they’ve become from who they truly are.

My approach blends emotional depth with forward movement. I’m therapy-informed, which means we honour your past experiences and behaviour patterns, but we don’t stay stuck there. We use the insight they give us to build momentum.
You won’t find hype here.

Who do you predominantly work with?
I generally work with millennial women who like "fine" on the outside but feel quite dissatisfaction about their life. on the inside. They are capable, self-aware, responsible and often labelled "the strong one." They've build careers, maintained relationships...ticked all the boxes of "success" but still feel like "something is missing." They're not in crisis, or falling apart, they're just living on auto-pilot. They're asking questions like:

Where are your clients based?
I am based in Sydney, Australia. However, all of my sessions are online, so I work with people across Australia, UK and Europe. Please be aware that my services are priced and purchased in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Do you only work with millennial women?
Although the majority of my clients are millennial women, I also support women, and men in their mid-late 20's all the way through to mid-50's. It all depends on where you are in your life so if my mission resonates with you, don't let your age or gender stop you from getting in touch!
I'm not sure if I need coaching or therapy. What's the difference?
Both coaching and therapy are valuable, and across my career I have been both so a coach and a therapist so I am uniquely positioned to answer this question for you.

Put simply, therapy focuses on healing. It helps you process past experiences, work through trauma, and stabilise mental health challenges. If you're feeling overwhelmed, depressed, anxious, or struggling to function day-to-day, therapy is best positioned to support you as it helps you develop the skills needed to survive.
Whereas, coaching focuses on the future. It's action-oriented, forward-thinking, and centred on growth, confidence, and decision-making, and is designed for people who feel stuck, unfulfilled or disconnected with themselves. You won't feel like you're in crisis but you will feel like something is misaligned.

Where as therapy often asks "what happened and how is this impacting your life" coaching asks "what now, and how are you going to successfully move forwards towards the life you want?" If you’re looking for someone to rescue you, coaching won’t feel right. If you’re ready to be supported while you do the work, it will.

How do your programs work?
My programs are structured around my signature framework — a personalised process that blends deep self-exploration, mindset work, confidence building, and practical action. Each session is one-to-one, tailored to your needs, and designed to create clarity, momentum and lasting change.

We begin with a focused starting point and together we clarify where you are in relation to this, what currently feels misaligned and what you truly want moving forwards. From there, each session builds clarity and confidence, helping you untangle unhelpful beliefs and behaviour patterns that are currently keeping you stuck, strengthen self-trust and take practical, aligned action.

Sessions are structured but not rigid. You'll always know what you're working towards whilst still having the space to bring what feels most pressing to each session. Between sessions, you'll reflect and apply what we've explored, because real change happens in your everyday life, not just in the conversations we have. ​
What's the commitment level like?
Coaching requires honesty, openness, and a willingness to take action between sessions. You don’t need to have everything figured out, you just need to be ready to show up for yourself. Sessions are conducted online, usually last 60mins and held every 2 weeks, but these details may vary depending on the Service Agreement we sign.
How long will it take to see change?
Many women notice shifts within the first few sessions. Sustainable change typically happens over 6–12 weeks. My signature 12-week programs are designed to help you create lasting mindset shifts and build momentum toward long-term growth. Whatever the program, you will leave your sessions with tools, tips and insights you can use for the rest of your life.
What kind of results can I expect?
The results look different for every woman because no two lives are the same. But what most clients experience is a shift from confusion to clarity, from second-guessing to self-trust, and from quiet dissatisfaction to confident regret-free living.

How do I know if we're a good fit?
Coaching works best when there’s trust and mutual respect. The right coaching relationship should feel supportive, honest, and energising. A coaching session should feel like a safe space, not intimidating or pressured in any way. It should be something you look forward to, even if you feel a little nervous ahead of the session.

My style is calm, grounded and direct. My super power is bridging emotional depth with practical, forward-focused action. I use my therapeutic background to assist you with transformational self discovery so you understand themselves on a deeper level. I provide emotional support with strategic guidance.
I won’t tell you what to do, and I won’t let you sit in your past and wallow. I will ask thoughtful questions, challenge you when needed, and help you see patterns you may not see yourself. Together we'll build a solid toolkit unique to you that will help you own your past whilst confidently building a future that feels true to you.

I'm not sure exactly what I need. Can you help me figure that out?
Absolutely! Many women come to me knowing they feel “off” but not knowing why. Part of my job is to help you uncover what you truly want, what’s keeping you stuck, and what support will move you forwards. If that means working together then great. If it means parting ways after your Strategy Session, that's fine too. What's important to me is that you have what you need to confidently build a regret-free life.
I'm worried I'll feel judged or not good enough...
So many women feel this way! My coaching style is warm, honest, empowering, and supportive. You’re safe to show up exactly as you are and you'll be welcomed with love and understanding. Judgement isn't part of my vocabulary. Empathy, understanding and women empowering women is.
What if I start and realise coaching isn't for me?
That’s okay! Coaching is a partnership. If it’s not the right fit, we’ll talk about it and adjust or pause as needed. My goal is always to do what’s best for you.
