With so much advice out there, especially at this time of the year, it’s hard to know which manifesto or lifestyle to follow. This is why I’ve put together 7 simple rules for life, to help you tone out the noise and focus on what’s really important. You can read it in this month’s blog.

Follow these 7 simple rules for life to make 2025 the year you find peace and happiness:

 

 

1) Let it go

Never ruin a good day by thinking about a bad yesterday. Let go of the past, live in the moment and don’t hold on to things that didn’t go your way. Mistakes are not mistakes if you learn from them so take the lesson and let the rest go.


2) Ignore them

 Don’t be influenced by what other people want. Focus on creating a life that’s empowering to you. That’s what really matters.


3) Give it time

Whatever you’re going through right now, time will help you move forwards. As much as it hurts, time really does heal everything.

 

4) Don’t make comparisons

Stop comparing yourself to others. What other people are doing isn’t important. The only person you should try to beat is the person you were yesterday. Focusing on that will keep you motivated to make the changes that matter.


5) Stay calm

It’s okay to not have everything figured out, know that if you stay focused, in time you’ll get there. Take it one step at a time.

 

6) It’s on you

Stop blaming others and disempowering yourself by believing things are not in your control. You are in charge of your own happiness, no one else.

 

7) Smile

Pay attention to the small things and take a moment to appreciate all that you have. Smile at every opportunity. Life is short. Enjoy it while you have it.
